I provide psychotherapy to adults and older adolescents. I am comfortable working with the following concerns:
depression
anxiety
grief
anger
relationship concerns
eating disorders
sexual and domestic violence
trauma
substance use concerns
life transitions
bi-polar disorder
vulnerable self image
obsessive compulsive disorder
exploration of gender and sexuality
I have advanced training in psychodynamic psychotherapy and I have specialized training in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). I primarily use a psychodynamic lens but believe firmly in attending to the needs of each patient through the creative and collaborative use of an eclectic mix of therapeutic modalities.
I also provide supervision to new clinicians who are seeking licensure in Pennsylvania, and case consultation to seasoned psychotherapists who are looking for clinical guidance.
The fee for a 45-50 minute therapy session is $160. While therapy is a significant financial investment, there are several ways to make it affordable that I am happy to discuss in a free consultation.
COVID UPDATE: I offer in-person sessions to patients in Center City, Philadelphia, and I am happy to offer psychotherapy virtually using a HIPAA-compliant and user-friendly video platform due to COVID-19. When sessions take place virtually, patients must be located in the states of Pennsylvania, New Jersey, or Vermont to receive psychotherapy services.
